The Dream Lineup
I've had alot of thinking time the past few days, i've been fairly ill and just not in a great way with the world at the moment. I'm capped at the moment and still trying to peice my music colection back together, so while i'm re-attaining my meshuggah albums I though i'd answer a question somone asked the other day, while smokin some cigs down at good old blacky high: "If you could pick a lineup for a concert consisting of any 5 bands, who would you pick and why?"
At first this almost became a variation of "WATS UR 5 FAV BANDS LOLOLOLOLOL" but I then deliberated on and concidered what the bands actaul on stage performance would be like, in contrast to just the set they'd play (Akin to say, Aphex twin playing some pre-mixed stuff on iTunes while he's bustin up noobs on dota while on stage)
I also though that with only 5 acts, a mix of genres might be ideal, as in a single day, a whole mix of sounds and genres would probably be more appealing. Therefore this list in no way is resembling to a "faviourite bands" list, but more of an "Idea combination for entertainment vale" compilation
ANYWAY, here goes nuthin:
Meshuggah: Simple, their live performances are intence, they don't fuck around with playing only new shit in there sets, the crowd gets incredably involved with dancing/keeping up with the music and for a metal act, alot of the "Traditional fuckin' metalcuntz" (AKA joel) are turned off by them as there lyrics arn't purly about raping bitches, or "being vikings" or commiting suicide (No to mention alot of their work is instrumental rather than volcal, so cunts can't "Relate deeply to the lyrics") but yeah, a fearsome onstage presance without taking the whole "Were a metal act lolz" too seriously (Ok and also thomas haake is one of my favourite drummers ever)
Rage against the machine: I know its probably a clich'e/typical answer, but seriously, after witnessing that big day out performance, Rage's power to unify that many people was astounding. I'd didn't matter that we wern't 12 years old anymore, and that people of all ages were surrounding us. No one cared if you'd forgotten the verses as it'd been like 6-7 years since you last heard "Children of the sun", long as you could bouce along to the chorus. Not to mention the lyrics for killing in the name can practly be learned while hearing the song for the first time, so you didn't even have to be a big rage fan to appreciate the ammound of energy emmiting from out and around the D-Section. A big DO WANT
At the Drive-In: Again, Expected and Clich'e, but holy shit Cedric alone is enough of a character to make an event full of surprises. His on stage antics are usual destructive and troublesome, but that exactailly what a cround wants to see. Sure it's cool seeing your favourite artists performing your favourite songs, but lets not beat around the fact that it can be awfully drab if they just stand there doing their thing while playing a hard hitting, energetic performance. A shame they arn't together at the current time (Comeback one day perhaps?) becuase all these videos just don't do them justice.
Pnau: Yeah, This is the Daft Punk/Justice slot. I jsut find it incredably difficuilt to deliberate between the two of them, so i though somthing "outside the box" was nessacary. I concidered daft punk for the obvious classics, the robot getups, and the massive ass prymid they perform in, and Justice for the great live mixes of other songs they throw in, the large glowing cross and the songs they've written that we've fallen in love with. So with that out of the way, WHY pnau over other Dance acts? They utilise somthing diffrent in there performances. Wether is a childrens choir in "Baby" or getting people to dance in big costums depicting misc characters, they reduce the clich'e need for big flashing lights and shit that glows. With random guest cameos for songs (Luke Steele anyone?) being the icing on the cake, the on-stage visuals for a pnau gig are very thrilling and entertaining.
AIR: I Was looking to end the lineup with somthing alot more melow, and was concidering somthing a bit more folkish or chilled. I then though "Nah fuck it, listening to Moon Safari is a gereat way to end any day" I have no idea what their like live, but i'm capped so i can't youtube it or nuffin. I could totaly enjoy a mad sunset with these tracks slowly lulling everyone to sleep.
Yeah ok i'll admit i got lazy with that last one, but i'm tired as fuck. A normal post my see some light in the comming days, I got lots of stuff to document and cha, as i've done so much this year, and I truly think it will be an amazing one.

Lazy.
It's hot, I just woke up, and i'm ever so happy that only two days from now first year will be well and truly over.
I should really be studying for my last exam, but my lack of motivation has literally taken over my whole state of mind, and I just want to embrace summer already.
Thursday afternoon, after I toil through three final hours of maths for the year, I can finally chill back a bit, and start getting some shit done.
I have a job interview this afternoon for the pancake parlor, i'm not sure i'm going to get this position due to my lack of expierance and lack of being a ripped jock, but hell, any job interview is welcome by me. At least it gets my parents off my back for a few days.
I read blogs and facebook about how people have been going out and doing all this nutso shit latly, but i honestly havn't done fuck all. I guess i have to blame my exams and uni layout for this one, but also the lack of funding also comes into play, hence I can't wait to get a job.
So what have I been doing? I've gotten stuck into this awsome J-RPG on my DS (Inazuma eleven 2, worth lookin at), the dota addiction is growing badly: "Man we've played like 40 games in the past 2 days alone..." - twelvie" and yeah, i've been hainging out with ally whenever the chance has arisen.
My bedroom has been changed dramaticly, i have a fkin double bed now which is uber comfy, and yeha, some shits been re-arranged.
I really hope I get this job today. With a source of income it's like a new dimenion of life is going to open up completly. Mayb a job is what i need to get my motivation up and overcome my lazyness.
The first thing i'm planning on getting with moneis is a electric guitar. Thanks to lockerz.com, i'll hopefully get a free amp by the end of the year. from there on i'll just start distorting it up.
I'm currently trying to learn eriatarka on guitar. its not hard but theres so much shit to remember...

I'M GETTING LOUD WITH YOU
Hey Ladies, I'm Fucking happy as uni Is now pretty much over for the year. Sure, theres them pesky little fuckers caled "exams" comming up, but yeah, shit can SMD.
DD hasn't been doing all that much latly, i've been totaly dragged down by the assloads of last minute work that I had to pull of, but it's all crescent now.
Although not even really started, new MUGEN project is on hold already becuase, if you fucking believe this shit, the day after I said I was to work on a new project, the current company "in charge" of mugen, who have been on hiatus for like 10 years, decided to realese a new version. Now the mugen community is in a bit of an uproar as heaps of characters, stages and assloads of hours worth of code are rendered completly useless. good news is my mugen project will be supported in COMPLETE HD and hopefully this new version will be much better for PS3 porting, so broken lads night MUGEN fun isn't far away. (This will consist of making any character red likes to use completly useless, hadoukens becomming unblockable and all of dizzy's moves will be 1hit KO's :D )
I've jumpedback into some guitar practice (Finially) but i still havn't been invited into a beef band for my guitar skills yet, so I best get practising (I havn't even qualified for "jam session" yet)
Ugh i've had to move all the shit outta my room for tonight, as he carpet is gettin steam cleaned tomorrow (oh noes, bye bye vomit stain...) and DD is gettin promoted to Double bed status (Thanks Ally :D ) But as a consequence, i have a new computer desk and my layout is completly changed. Long story short its only a matter of time before I get my wires confused resulting in "OMFG BITCH STICK IT INNA' BUTT" or somthing getting blasted throughout the entire house at 3am via subwoofer & co. (I'm not talking about schoolies videos either BTW :P )
I guess i've been spending a bit of time with Ally latly (Inb4 wench jokes) but fark I wanna catch up with lads n' shit so badly. Uni really has come between us more than we thought it would. AIDS.
Guys, Justice, So good. I'm still very much wearing both albums to the bone. I'll admit theres still no "Daft" essence in here, but jeez if there was no daft punk, there'd be Justice. I'd probably have to air violin along to "Stress" or somthing (new spinoff arising?) Also I think it will be better once the lads finially come together to appreciate justice in person, then some kind of essance or "vibe" will totaly arise.
Also in musica, I totaly just checked my recent "most played" list, and "The End of Biters" is fucking raping everything else. Like theres a huge gap in the number of plays and such is startling. (But I guess it is only a minute long, and i've been using it for shuffle practise. I don't plan on being a shuffler muzza or w/e I just wanna shuffle off against red one drunk diasterous day.
Wow, lads potentially meeting Ally next week, its almost like a "divine" or holy event when being passed onto the lads for the first time. Shit's gunna be really fun/interesting, but it will be totaly cres unless you guys don't want more than one DD hanging around :P .
Game wise: DotA, TF2, Melty blood (It's good, gtfo red.) and Tetris (Have pitty on me jimmy :D ) have been taking up all my time, but as soon as exam are over, its totaly "Once a year" game time. So Deus Ex is getting re-installed, with Killer7 and shadow of the colossus being busted out. Can't wait to relive the classics XD (I'll probably finish Killer7 a second time before any of you other fags get a chance to see the OMFGWTF THIS IS AIDS ending :) )

Chyeah, Happy.
-_-' So theres a bit of a void since my last post but w/e. I think its totaly time for a pre-exam pondering before i get into the study and hide away in my corner untill exams are all over.
Long story short DD is now taken. GG ladies. :D
Umm yeah, need to get sehr drunk with the lads soon. Cant really say i've done much else.
few outings here and there. bits of uni here and there. i think the gf may have made a cameo appearance but i really wasn't paying too much attention.
Anyways the only thing else left to say is that i'm totaly bringing my mugen project out of haitus and i'm going to re-start development. I actaully wanna try and make somthing not only playable, but actaually decent. although i'll use a templat again to start with, i eventually wanna make orignial stuff, and actually have some people help me out on the project. (espically with things outside core gameplay, like menu art, music, functionality ect.
if i really take things seriously i'll start a seprate blog with changelogs and mayb even a link to releases in the nearby future.
anyways time is a wasting.

This Feels Like A Nightmare.
DD has a rare night without homework, so why not take an oppertunity to talk shit on my blog seeing as there's now a void in my weekly routine cause marty's blog has disserpeared.
The baryshnikov gig on the weekend was totaly crescent fresh. We got to down cheap wine AND take out some cunts in the mosh. (Protip'd that team lads won the match XD ) T'was so epic i got me a t-shirt AND i'm wearing it RIGHT NOW.
Uni is meh, would like a break but hey, Already half way though semister. YAY
Well i'd type more but Stepmania is literaly raping me with its EVIL INTENTIONS.
